well it's difficult, i think it's pretty much impossible unless i get reports from others, or do a manual search and try find out myself.

I have a 'scammer' voting system on the site so i'll just stick to that and do manual searches.

Ok you have a voting system, that's sounds good to me. With that, I assume is needed a user logged in to access all content, like: telephone number, formularies on ad page, etc. Is the minimum required.

So, scammer need login first to access all that content, and in the end do the malicious thing manually.

You need think very well all the possibilities and requirements to all users, scammers or not to be a automatic remove process. Alerting admin by email template to take an action in 24/48 hours after xx votes to remove automatically a scammer user. That can result.

For other hand, you can remove manually too, after a real user comprove other user is a scammer.

My suggestion: some info on item-post page, about scammers, and how users can avoid them, and report them to admin and using vote system too. That will inform more about scammers to your real users to take an action.
